conventional – we see waste as an opportunity for positive change.
Who We Are
MiTrade stands at the forefront of the recycling industry, driven by a passion for environmental stewardship. With a proven track record of excellence, we specialize in transforming commercial waste into valuable resources, championing a circular economy that benefits both businesses and the planet.
Our Vision
Imagine a world where waste is not a burden but a catalyst for positive change. At MiTrade, we envision a future where businesses seamlessly integrate sustainability into their operations, contributing to a healthier planet for generations to come.
Core Values
Our foundation is built on transparency, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We believe in the power of collaboration, working closely with our clients to tailor recycling solutions that align with their unique needs and environmental goals.
Environmental impact
Recycling protects the environment and as well as reducing waste and pollution, it is a quick method to reduce your company’s carbon footprint. In doing so, this can also cut down the footprint of customers and suppliers which contributes to the slowing of climate change and reinforces sustainability. MiTrade reduces a business’ carbon footprint by assessing the life cycle of technology and deciding whether it can be reused or broken down into components and recycled and leads to a diversion of the waste being sent to landfill.

Our process
From start to finish our aim is to provide a headache free service, seamless collection, secure transportation, and you got it first class customer service!
All essential information is provided to our drivers, we audit the assets prior to transportation this ensures that no asset is
missed and all assets are signed off by the client.
Once the audit is complete and uploaded to our secure database, we then transport to our secure facility in Bedford.
From Bedford your assets will then be allocated a sealed lot, this is not essential however we like to think we add the extra piece of mind to our clients.
The assets are then sanitized, shredded or recycled by our skilled and trusted technicians.
From there you will receive a Data Destruction Certificate and a Waste Transfer Note confirming your collection and destruction.
Technology and innovation
We attempt to be at the forefront and educated on the latest technology and its’ innovation. Ways in which we do this include:
- Servers and PCs are tested on our own test rigs, the test can identify whether hard drives are wiped for software such as MDM.
- Our technicians use software destroy disk for wiping of servers and PC’s.
- We send our technicians on regular courses to update them on new technology that has been released and discovering new ways to repair devices.
- We include our sales team in the process, so they are also aware of new risks.
As a business we strive to reduce our carbon footprint
with decisions such as collecting from multiple businesses
in one day. Less than 2% of items go to landfill and we are
continuously working on reducing the percentage to zero.
